The Google Nexus 6 went up for pre-order at the Google Play Store in the US on 29 October, but sold out within "minutes," suggesting that the firm was suffering from a shortage of stock. The listing didn't confirm a release date, but those who managed to order it were told to expect a delivery within "three to four weeks."
Google started taking pre-orders for the 32GB blue Nexus 6 in the UK soon after, but this model promptly sold out too. However, it seems stock has since been replenished, with Google promising that orders will arrive with buyers on 9 January. The firm is also now offering 32GB the model in white.

PriceIn the world has revealed how much the Nexus 6 will cost in the UK, pricing the 32GB model at £499 and the 64GB version at £549. In the US, the models have been priced at $649 and $699.
Carphone Warehouse became the first to confirm the Nexus 6's pay monthly pricing, having started taking pre-orders for the handset on EE, O2 and Vodafone.
Prices for the 32GB model start at £34.50 per month, complete with 600 minutes, unlimited texts and 1GB data - which can be upped to 4GB on a £39.50 per month contract. The 64GB model can be picked up on the same £34.50 per month tariff, but will cost an additional £29.99 upfront cost.
Vodafone has started offering the Nexus 6 directly too, with delivery promised for 5 December. The operator, which is chucking in a free Moto 360 with the first 500 orders, is offering the phone for free from £44.50 per month.
